WHAT IS JUST COOK?

Just Cook is a casual cooking class where participants can learn to cook a healthy meal for under $2 a serving. Classes are held at different places throughout the community (see our calendar below!) and are hosted by trained chefs, our volunteers with a passion for cooking, and/or a Just Food team member.

WHO IS JUST COOK FOR?

Just Cook is open to all Douglas County residents looking to brush up on their cooking skills! All participants will get hands-on experience, will enjoy a full serving of the dish, and will get to take home any leftovers! Depending on the class, participants might also go home with a meal-kit, kitchen tools, and more. See details in the class calendar below.

HOW DO I GET INVOLVED?

All you need to do is sign up at least three business days before the date of the class, so we can be sure to have enough ingredients for everyone who attends. View the class calendar below to sign up!

Contact our Programs Manager, Jessica Cooney at programs@justfoodks.org if you have any questions.
